What is Alpha? At an ALPHA course, people explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting in thought-provoking weekly sessions. It is low-key, friendly and fun. Each session has a nice meal, an interesting talk and some good discussion while enjoying dessert! (We like food!) It's an open atmosphere where any question can be asked and everyone's views are welcome. Some of the topics discussed include: What's life about? How can I be sure of my faith?
Everyone is welcome! People attend from many different backgrounds, religions and viewpoints. They attend for a variety of reasons. Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death. Still others may have attended church all their life, but feel they never really understood the basics of the Christian faith
