What kind of Church is Alliance Bible Church?

Primarily Alliance Bible Church is a church that seeks to fulfill God's mission of reconciling people to himself.

We are part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

We are Christian because we believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

We are Missionary because we are committed to reaching people worldwide with the gospel.

We are an Alliance of believers working together to help each other and make our world a better place to live.

Alliance Bible Church has been part of the Mequon/Cedarburg community since 1977. That year, First Alliance Church in Milwaukee, pastored by Rev. Harley Heckman, launched plans for establishing a church in this area. Led by Pastor Bill Ronzheimer, four families met weekly as a home Bible study.

Public services began in 1978 at the Cedarburg Community Center until 1984 when the first phase of the present building was constructed. Since that time continued growth has brought additional pastoral staff, further construction, and expanded ministry to the Ozaukee County area.

In 1996 the church sent out a group of 35 people which formed the core of a new Alliance Church in Belgium, WI.  In 2001, over 65 people were sent out to form North Shore Alliance Church in Mequon.

Alliance Bible Church is a warm family oriented/Bible-centered church. Our desire is to provide meaningful opportunities for growth in every group from the cradle up. Our consistently growing congregation keeps us flexible as we endeavor to meet needs through Biblically based programming.

We are Evangelical in doctrine and practice. The preaching and teaching at Alliance Bible Church is based on a commitment to the Bible as the authoritative word of God.

The people of Alliance Bible Church are a serving family whose members share a sense of responsibility, usefulness, and accountability to other family members. They faithfully serve as leaders, committee members, teachers, helpers, and in many other roles. Through using our gifts to help others, we want to be a thriving household that serves Christ.

At Alliance Bible Church we also cultivate an "outreach mentality". This means we're not satisfied with serving just each other but allow God to use us in our community as well as the whole globe. Alliance Bible Church is part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) ministry to over 60 countries around the world.
